PetelliPal ("the App", "we", "us") helps you track your pet's daily care and uses AI to suggest care plans, insights, and answers. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what leaves your device and why.
PetelliPal's AI features (generating a care plan, surfacing weekly insights, answering questions in "Ask the assistant", and turning a typed note into a timeline entry in "Log an activity") need some context to work. Depending on which feature you use, this can include:
This information is sent, over an encrypted connection, to a server we operate (a Cloudflare Worker) whose only job is to relay the request to OpenRouter, a third-party AI routing service that calls the underlying AI model and returns the result. Our server does not store a copy of the request — it's a stateless relay. OpenRouter processes the request under its own privacy practices; see openrouter.ai/privacy. We never receive your pet's data outside of the moment you trigger an AI feature, and we don't attach any persistent identifier that would let us (or OpenRouter) link separate requests back to you.
The in-app "Feedback" form composes an email (opened in your device's own Mail app, or your default mail app) addressed to aipet@ship-kit.app. You review and send it yourself — PetelliPal does not transmit this on your behalf. The email body automatically includes your app version, iOS version, and general device model, so we can troubleshoot; it does not include your pet's data unless you choose to type it in.
Care reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system, based on your own tasks' due times. We don't operate a push-notification server and don't know when or whether a reminder was shown.
PetelliPal is intended for adult pet owners and is not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 (COPPA) or the applicable age in your region — the app has no accounts, and the AI requests described above don't identify who sent them.
Because AI requests aren't stored on our server, there's nothing there to delete. Your on-device data (pet profiles, tasks, timeline, chat history) can be removed at any time by deleting the relevant pet profile in the app, or by deleting the app itself.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and post the new version at this same URL.
